What's For Dinner

A question we ask most every evening when we are on vacation is; "What's for dinner?" Don't misinterpret the question, we are not asking what we are going to cook we are asking where we are going. Let me share a few of the excellent restaurants we enjoyed during our latest visit to OBA.

Playa - This semi-casual restaurant has excellent and unique menu options. This may sound crazy but give the fried grits a try...yummy!

Fishers Upstairs - Elegant and upscale, but not stuffy. The fresh catch is always a great choice and I must say the Red Snapper...AMAZING.

Coastal - Sitting directly on the beach Coastal brings you laid-back outdoor dining and by early summer 2023 the sophisticated indoor dining room will be open with delicious options. In the meantime try the pimento cheese appetizer it's one of the best appetizers ever in the history of the world.

Fishers Dockside - On the ground level in the same location as Fishers Upstairs, this casual restaurant has plenty of options and a burger that will have you planning your return before you walk out the door.

Cobalt - Go early or be prepared for a wait but the Bronzed Grouper makes the wait worthwhile.

Zekes - A beautiful marina setting with great food makes for a perfect ending to a perfect day on the beach.

Villaggio Grill - Located in The Warf where you can shop before you dine on Villaggio's scrumptious Italian Food.

Carvers Steakhouse - The atmosphere is what I call casual/upscale and the steak and sides are very good.

We had plans to visit more of the areas great restaurants but we ran out of time. I suppose this means we need to return ASAP so we can keep eating our way through OBA.
