When you think of Grand Cayman your first though most likely isn't "What a great place for basketball." But when you visit Cayman in November your first thought may just become "What a great place for basketball." This year eight college basketball teams participated in the 2nd Annual Cayman Islands Classic held November 19 - 21. Clemson, Georgia, Creighton, Boise State, Akron, Illinois State, Georgia State and St. Bonaventure made the trip to Grand Cayman to showcase their talent on the court. After three days of tournament competition Creighton claimed the championship and left the island holding the trophy. This years tournament was a great success and we are already looking forward to next November when once again The Cayman Islands Classic will bring great college basketball to our little slice of paradise.
